Effective June 16, 2025
Dear Valued Customer,
At Maxtec, we remain deeply committed to supporting you with reliable, high-quality products that help improve outcomes for those you serve. As a U.S.-based manufacturer, we are proud to contribute to critical care solutions both nationally and globally. To do so, we depend on a complex international supply chain for key components essential to our manufacturing process.
Over the past several months, we have worked hard to absorb the increased costs resulting from reciprocal tariffs, sparing our customers from an additional financial burden. However, due to the continued and compounding impact on our supply chain, we find it necessary to implement a 2% tariff-related surcharge on all Maxtec products, effective June 16, 2025.
What this means for you:
- A 2% surcharge will be applied to all Maxtec products.
- This surcharge will be clearly identified as “Tariff Surcharge” on all sales orders and invoices.
We recognize the challenges this may present and the ripple effect it can have on your operations and the individuals who ultimately rely on our products. This decision was not made lightly. We understand the pressures you face, and we remain focused on minimizing disruption wherever possible.
Transparency is important to us, and we will continue to monitor global trade developments closely. Should tariffs be reduced or removed in the future, we will respond swiftly and adjust this surcharge accordingly.
If you have any questions or would like to speak with someone directly about how this may affect your orders or operations, please don’t hesitate to contact your sales representative or our customer service team at [email protected].
We sincerely value your partnership and appreciate the essential work you do every day.
