RECEIVING DUTIES

• Timely and accurate receiving function, including Initial inspection for damage, correct quantity and part type
• Data entry of PO receipt in MRP Computer System
• Notification of receipts to originating party
• Prepare Incoming Inspection paperwork
• Accurate distribution of materials
• Delivery/pickup of outsourced material

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist Operations with Shipping and other special projects

AUTHORITY

• Signing of manifests incoming
• Receiving Transactions as defined in job description
• Maintain product segregation as defined in documented procedures
• Access to receiving area
• Quality check orders upon receiving

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• One year of related experience

JOB ESSENTIALS

• High school diploma
• Comfortable with computer.  MS Word & Excel experience a plus
• Familiar UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy a must
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance

FAMILIARIZATION AND USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

• Gloves and/or other safety protection equipment where required
• Familiar with current hazardous materials warnings, signs and symbols and any other related safety precautions
• Experience operating a forklift
• Understanding of material safety data sheets for materials handled
