• Ensure completion of jobs in a timely manner; while maintaining workmanship quality standards.
• Measure parts as needed.
• Cleaning and deburring parts as needed.
• Practice safety policies and procedures within production.
• Practice good housekeeping practices within production.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for the physical control of inventory, including identification of material and job status, and accurate reporting of lot tracking information.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to supervisor relating to improvement of product quality or manufacturability.
• Provide routine maintenance on equipment and/or contact Supervisor when professional assistance is needed.

• CNC machining experience:

o   Knowledge and theory of cutting

o   Knowledge of work piece holding tools (chuck, fixtures, tailstock) in order to determine the machining method that ensures safe and accurate operation.

o   Ability to determine the appropriate cutting tools by taking into consideration the work piece material, spindle speed, feed-rate, and depth of cut, to prevent problems, which might occur during machining.

o   Understand the machining performance of the machine to be used.

o   Understand the safety devices and interlock functions featured by the machine to be used.

o   Become familiar with the functions related to programming.

·        Blueprint reading, measuring equipment use and techniques.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, COMPETENCE, TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE
